How do I take this medicine?

The medicine is given once a week in a shot. The shot goes into the fat under the skin of the belly, thigh, or back of the upper arm. It should be given in a different spot each week. Give it on same day each week. If you forget to give it on the day it was supposed to be given, it is okay to give it the next day.

This medicine comes in a prefilled device called a pen. It has just the right amount of medicine needed for one dose. If the dose is changed, you will need a new prescription.

You will start at the lowest amount of medicine. This is 0.25mg weekly. This helps the body get used to the medicine slowly. The amount of medicine you will give will go up in small amounts every
