The Children’s Wisconsin NICU team is happy to offer AngelEye Health Online Webcam Camera. We want you to visit in person as often as you can. When you are not able to visit, try using AngelEye.
What is AngelEye Health Online Webcam?
It is a system that lets you see your infant on any device with an internet connection. It uses live-stream video. You can see your infant, but not hear them. Live stream video is not recorded.
How does it work?
- Sign up:
- Give your consent and talk to your NICU team about the camera.
- You will give the NICU team your email or mobile phone number.
- They will use this info to invite you to AngelEye.
- Get an invite:
- Check your email or text message for the invite to join AngelEye.
- You may need to check your email spam folder.
- Create an account:
- Click the Sign-Up link from your invite.
- You will need to add your first and last name and how you are related to the child.
- Click continue:
- See the live-stream video.
- Invite:
- Invite family members and friends to see the video of your infant.
- There is no limit on how many invites you can send. To do this:
- Select “Family Settings”
- Click “Manage my family”
- Share or copy the invite link to family member or friend. They will need to click the Sign-Up link from their invite. Then they should add their first and last name. Then how they are related to the infant.
What else should I know about AngelEye?
- There may be many times during the day when your infant’s camera is turned off. This is because they are out of bed or getting care. When this happens, you will see a privacy image. Please do not worry. Refresh your screen often.
- If the camera is turned off for more than 1 hour, call the NICU and ask for help.
- Your session logs out after 20 minutes if you are not using it. If this happens, log back in to see your infant.
- If family and friends have questions or concerns about AngelEye or your infant, they should contact you.
- Do not share your username or password.
- You may not record, share video, or screenshot photos taken through AngelEye. If this happens, you may no longer be able to use AngelEye.To support the best and safest care, we may need to limit or remove camera access if we notice it is causing extra concern.
