What is midline car seat positioning?

Having your child in a midline car seat position helps keep your child’s head, neck and trunk in a straight line while in the seat.

Why is it important?

Keeping the head and trunk in a midline position helps your child gain neck motion.  It also keeps from putting more pressure on a flat spot.  This will help with head shaping.  It will also support their head until they can hold it up themselves.

How is it done?

Roll a small towel to keep head in the middle of the car seat.

Note: Check on your child often when using these.  The rolls need to stay in place.
