Children's Wisconsin has several home visiting program options that offer one-on-one support and resources to expecting moms and new parents living in Milwaukee County. Participation in these programs is voluntary and free. Learn more about home visiting programs.

Different programs available through Children's Milwaukee home visiting program

We can offer you support. Staff will visit with you in your home, in the community or at our office — wherever feels most comfortable and convenient for you. Sign up online and our staff will help you determine which program best suits your needs. We have two bilingual Spanish-speaking home visitors and access to interpreter services to serve other language speakers.

Healthy Families Milwaukee County

Healthy Families Milwaukee County™

Healthy Families Milwaukee County™ works collaboratively with families to encourage healthy prenatal and child development, strengthen parenting skills and connect families to community resources and support. Personalized services can be provided until the child reaches age 3. We share parenting and child development support and information and supply your family with activity ideas that promote child development and a strong parent-child attachment. United Way MilwaukeeMilwaukee Start Right

Coping with an unplanned pregnancy or with parenting a baby can be overwhelming. Milwaukee Start Right staff help pregnant and parenting women work through questions and concerns they have before, during and post pregnancy. Start Right home visitors support women as they sort through some of the overwhelming feelings a new pregnancy or baby may bring. They provide a listening ear and guidance. Home visitors work collaboratively with families to encourage healthy prenatal and child development, strengthen parenting skills and connect families to community resources and support until the child reaches 1 year of age.
