Young adult oncology group

The young adult oncology group meets monthly to help adolescents and young adults share experiences and plan activities, like social, recreational and other gatherings. This program also pairs a young adult with someone who currently is dealing with cancer to provide peer support, advice and comfort under the supervision of qualified staff.

Who can participate?

This group is open to anyone who is:

  • Between 18 and 39 years of age.
  • On or off cancer treatment.
  • Wants to encourage empowerment through education and support.

We welcome all young adults, regardless of where they are or were being treated. Participants also can bring a guest.
