Patient care unit
Our Neurosciences Center opened in 2015 and incorporates many new and innovative features to improve patient care.
Some of the key features of our unit include:
- 22 patient rooms, many equipped with high-definition long-term camera monitoring, and others equipped with patient lifts for rehabilitation
- Epilepsy monitoring control room with state-of-the-art neuromonitoring capabilities to support our neurosciences, NICU, and PICU patients
- A rehabilitation gym with a kitchen, basketball hoop, and ZeroG gait and balance training system
- Neuropsychologic testing and speech/OT retraining
- Large family lounge
In addition, we have a neuro intensive care team that cares for patients in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Learn more about our neuro intensive care services.
