State-Of-The-Art Epilepsy Monitoring
Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit uses advanced technology to help us observe and record your child's brain activity and symptoms over several days. This allows us to determine the seizure's origin, type and frequency. With this information, we develop a personalized treatment plan that best suits your child.

Get a second opinion from the Children’s Wisconsin Neurosciences Center
The urge to start treatment right away is common, but a second opinion can make sure the treatment plan is the best fit for your child. Children’s Wisconsin can provide an expert opinion to verify or give more information on your child’s original diagnosis.
- We work with your child’s referring neurologist or pediatrician to review the original diagnosis and treatment plan
- We may be able to offer tests and treatments that aren’t available at your current provider’s location
- We will review medical history and explore additional treatment options as needed.
