Dr. Whitinger specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of pediatric neurologic conditions, including headaches, seizures, and developmental concerns. Alongside his general clinic and inpatient responsibilities, he has a particular interest in Neonatal Neurology, with dedicated involvement in the care of critically ill newborns in the NICU and in NICU follow-up clinics.
He is committed to building lasting relationships with his patients and their families, recognizing that neurologic disease often evolves over time and that continuity of care is essential to supporting each child’s changing needs.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Whitinger is actively involved in the education of residents and medical students across Neurology and other departments at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
