Welcome Ryan Herringa, MD, PhD, in Psychiatry

Ryan Herringa, MD, PhDRyan Herringa, MD, PhD, is the Mental and Behavioral Health-in-Chief for Children's Wisconsin and Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

He is a pediatric psychiatrist who takes a whole child and whole family approach to understanding their strengths and needs in treating mental health. Dr. Herringa has additional expertise in working with trauma exposed youth and families, including psychotherapeutic and medical approaches.

As the MBH-in-Chief he is also part of the team responsible for leading strategic visioning and planning for mental and behavioral health across the Children's enterprise.
