President and Chief Operating Officer for Children’s Wisconsin Hospitals

Jonathan Brouk serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for Children’s Wisconsin Hospitals. He is responsible for the overall performance of the Milwaukee and Fox Valley hospitals, including inpatient and ambulatory operations.

Jonathan’s role includes driving performance excellence through enterprise-wide initiatives that improve care delivery, operational efficiency and patient experience. He supports care model redesign to help meet the needs of kids and families, both today and into the future. Jonathan also serves as a key liaison with the Medical College of Wisconsin and plays a critical role in cultivating relationships with other strategic partners.

Prior to Children’s Wisconsin, Jonathan served as President of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health, an academic children’s hospital and health care network in Louisiana. His accomplishments in this role include overseeing significant improvements in patient safety infrastructure and outcomes, successful revenue enhancement and cost containment strategies, and leading an innovative pediatric joint venture board. He also spent several years at LCMC Health’s Manning Family Children’s (formerly Children’s Hospital New Orleans) where he served in enterprise leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer as well as senior cabinet roles with the organization’s academic partners.

Jonathan has practiced as a corporate and regulatory health care attorney, representing non-profit health systems and developing population health strategies for health systems across the country. He earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago, and his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Economics, Political Science and Spanish at Tulane University.
