Leslie Tector
Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Leslie Tector, JD, joined Children’s Wisconsin as general counsel in 2016. Today, as senior vice president and chief legal officer, Leslie is responsible for leading the organization’s legal affairs and risk management and corporate insurance programs. This includes overseeing the legal team in support of Children’s Wisconsin’s various clinical, research, academic, payor and other operations.
Leslie has 30 years of corporate health care legal experience. Prior to coming to Children’s, she was a partner at Quarles & Brady, focusing on regulatory health care medical research, health care operations and general corporate matters. Prior to that, she served as interim senior counsel for global pharmaceutical companies. Leslie also was senior counsel for GE Healthcare, where she provided legal support to the ultrasound, MRI and life sciences modalities.
Leslie graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Georgetown University, and she holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College School of Law and a master’s of Laws degree in Health Law from DePaul University College of Law. She has served as an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School. She is also an active member of the Wisconsin State Bar and the American Health Lawyers Association and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Massachusetts.
