Children that need new medical equipment or modifications that are not currently receiving consistent outpatient therapy can now be supported/referred to Children’s Wisconsin Durable Medical Equipment Clinic. Our physical and occupational therapists work alongside an assistive technology professional to provide an evaluation to determine the proper medical equipment to be ordered through insurance.
To refer a patient:
• External referral via Epic
Send to CHW_PHYSICALTHERAPY and enter DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT in the notes/comments.
