Who We Help

Teens and Young Adults
Teens with congenital heart disease are at risk for gaps in care between adolescence and adulthood. Our transition program helps prepare teens to take ownership of their health and set them up for a healthy future.

Women and Expecting Mothers
Women with congenital heart disease may have questions about their health, including pregnancy, fertility and family planning. Pregnancy is safe for most women with CHD, and our experts are dedicated to helping ensure the best outcomes for a healthy and successful pregnancy.

Adults
Most congenital heart defects are discovered early but some don’t present until later in life. It’s important for adults with CHD to be monitored throughout their lives by a board certified ACHD specialist.
