Mason was born with craniosynostosis, a disorder in which the plates of the skull fuse together too early. As the brain continues to grow, the skull becomes misshapen. On April 4, 2018, Mason underwent a six-hour surgery to completely reconstruct his skull. One year later, Mason is doing great and he’s the happiest and friendliest little boy ever.
