About
I am a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer with the Children’s Wisconsin Sports Medicine Program. I'm currently serving as an outreach athletic trainer for the Milwaukee Public Schools system.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where I was also a member of the baseball team. I then returned home to Wisconsin where I was a strength and conditioning coach at a youth sports training center in Appleton. There, I was able to fulfill my passion for helping others develop active lifestyles. I earned a master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. During my graduate studies, I completed an internship at Bellin Health in Green Bay where I gained experience combining sports medicine and sports performance in a structured return to sport program for high school athletes after ACL reconstruction surgery. I also obtained a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to joining Children’s, I spent a season as an assistant Athletic Trainer in the Chicago White Sox minor league system.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, going trail running and rooting for the Green Bay Packers.
