The Children's Wisconsin Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellowship Program is a 13-month program dedicated to post-professional clinical and didactic education for occupational therapists. The program is designed to advance expertise in the domains of clinical reasoning, knowledge for specialty practice, professionalism, communication, education, systems-based practice and patient management in the area of pediatric occupational therapy.
Fellows will mentor one on one with licensed occupational therapists, physicians and surgeons in our Children’s Wisconsin hospital outpatient and inpatient settings. Our integration into specialty Children's Wisconsin clinics provide a unique learning opportunity for collaboration within multi-disciplinary care models. The curriculum for the pediatric occupational therapy fellowship is based upon the description of specialty practice put forth by the AOTA.
