About
As a therapist and registered art therapist, I specialize in working with children and teens who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges that can make life feel overwhelming. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, with a focus on helping young people and their families heal and grow.
With over 10 years of experience, I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). When helpful, I will integrate art therapy as a way for kids to express themselves and process their experiences creatively. I believe in an active, hands-on therapy approach that gives youth the opportunity to build coping skills, practice them in a safe space, and move toward balance and recovery.
In my trauma work, the youth is in the driver’s seat while I provide the guidance and support for the youth to regain control of their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I believe everyone’s story deserves care, understanding, and hope. My goal is to create a space where children and teens feel heard, supported, and empowered as they take steps toward resilience and healing.
