Amani & Franklin Heights
Amani United is the merger of the Amani Community Advisory Group (ACAG), which began meeting in 2011 and other active neighborhood initiatives. Members of Amani United include equal representation of both residents and stakeholders and community leaders who care about the neighborhood. Working in close alignment and partnership with Building Neighborhood Capacity Program (BCNP) activities, Amani United provides both leadership opportunities for residents as well as an opportunity to be a part of the positive changes in their neighborhood.
Through a discussion with both neighborhood residents and community stakeholders, the following areas are the current priorities for the Amani & Franklin Heights neighborhood:
- Vacant lots, vacated properties
