Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with epilepsy, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and management of complex cases
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, including neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists and other pediatric neurologists
  • Engage in cutting-edge research in pediatric epilepsy and contribute to the advancement of treatment options and patient outcomes
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows in pediatric neurology and epilepsy
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development within the epilepsy program
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced neurodiagnostic services, including video EEG monitoring, MEG and neuroimaging

Position Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy or a strong clinical focus on epilepsy.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Interest in academic medicine and a desire to engage in research and teaching.
