Very happy with the experience and care we received. Thank you!
This was our first encounter with Children's Hospital and we were very appreciative of the level of detail and care, from all team members we worked with. It is clear they care very much for the well-being of their patients and ensuring processes and medical information are understood.
It was a wonderful experience. The pediatric cardiologist was the 1st doctor I have seen that was knowledgeable about sjogrens.
We have always had a great experience with the staff and facilities at Children's Wisconsin. The staff are very patient and knowledgeable- we never feel rushed. The facility is impressively clean as well.
I will say our ultrasound tech was amazing! She gets a significant amount of credit, I ended up becoming a little light-headed and dizzy during my scan and she jumped into action so quickly and never once appeared concerned or rattled, she got everything I needed, even before I knew it. She deserves a huge kudos, priro to that she also was so great about explaining things and just having a good time. Also, coming from a background in healthcare, I greatly appreciate the communication of Dr. Kreighton, letting us know all of the options, all of the possibilities, all the statistics, all the prep that goes into planning, if plan A. Wasn't going to work, she explained Plan B, C, etc. She let us know how the communication would be provided to where we were delivering, what they do to get caught up with the case, awareness that we don't have to register all over again, etc. And just that if things were to change or happen before the plan, everyone would know what is expected and will need to happen. There would be no arguments, no "hey I thought we were supposed to have this done" becuase it's all handled, though this seems small, it's amazing how much reassurance that gave us and will just be able to enjoy the experience we have and the worry is taken away. I've never had to personally deal with Children's Wisconsin, only in a professional status, but they real exceeded themselves, I didn't have any expectations and felt like this would just be a routine visit, check for things and sent along, but it wasn't, they have plans upon plans and though I didn't know anything would be wrong, the small chance that there could be, they are ready...I think this helped after hearing the news and being able to go home with little to no questions and even after thinking about it, there were no questions because they answered them before we knew we had them. You all are amazing and we appreciate every part of this whole process. Thank you
