Pediatrics is a very rewarding and engaging field to work in, and I am honored to be part of the Children's Wisconsin primary care family! From healthy checkups to sick visits in the office, I hope to help create a friendly environment for kids when they come to see their doctor. Earning a smile from a patient means so much. I am reminded every day of how blessed I am to have the opportunity to join families in helping their children to grow up safe and healthy.

My adventure toward a career in pediatrics started with medical school in Michigan, where I was born and raised. I then moved "out west" to Milwaukee for my pediatric residency training at Children's and in clinics throughout the community. I have since fallen in love with Wisconsin and am happy to be practicing here. What's not to love about the dairyland? My hobbies include baking (banana bread is my specialty), jogging by the lake, and cheering on the Admirals at hockey games.

Dr. Getschow does a wonderful job explaining important health info to my pre-teen in an age relatable yet technical manner. During the exam, she explains each step prior to engaging. This really calms my daughter's nerves and makes the experience worry-free. My daughter left her exam feeling empowered with information about her developing body and health. We're very happy with Dr. Getschow! In fact, I wish she saw parents too!

Dr. Getschow was AMAZING! She exuded genuine kindness and care. From the moment she walked into the room I knew my daughter was in excellent hands, and that my other 2 daughters who will soon be in her care, will be treated in the same amazing way. I feel so thankful to have found her! The entire team at the Delafield location was welcoming and kind - an absolutely incredible experience all around!!!

Angela at the front desk is always so sweet and happy. Dr getschow is phenomenal. She listens and cares. She takes concerns seriously and always follows up. She sees all 3 of my kids and has since our oldest was born. We trust her completely and value her so much.

The MA that roomed us was not particularly friendly given that she works in a peds office. The second MA that came in to do my daughter's immunizations was excellent and is clearly in the right field. She was very friendly, cheerful, explained thoroughly what she was doing and her technique was sound.

The nurse we had worked with was brief and appeared rushed. Our visit with our physician is always wonderful!

Hi, first off, for the first question, I meant to give Dr. Getschow a 10, not a 1. So we love Dr. Getschow. She is absolutely amazing. She is great with the kids, great with parents. We would highly recommend her to anyone. So we appreciate having her as our pediatrician. Thank you. Bye-bye.

The medical assistant that worked with us was not extremely friendly and did not work well with my daughter when she was upset. I felt she was annoyed by my daughter
