Specialists in our Pulmonary Medicine Program are nationally known for their work in treating breathing issues that range from asthma to extremely complicated conditions.
Our program was named among the nation's best in U.S. News & World Report's 2024-2025 Best Children's Hospitals.
The Pulmonary Medicine Program includes Wisconsin's only pediatric sleep center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. It is one of only 25 accredited centers in the country dedicated solely to children.
The pulmonary clinics at Children's Wisconsin welcome children with a wide range of breathing and sleep problems. Our staff includes pulmonary and sleep medicine specialists nationally known for their work in pulmonary and sleep disorders.
In conjunction with The Medical College of Wisconsin, providers at Children's are constantly conducting research to develop better treatments, enabling them to stay on the cutting edge of the latest therapies. The Pulmonary Medicine Program places special emphasis on cystic fibrosis care and research and is a nationally accredited cystic fibrosis center.
