Overview

Services

Dr Kaperick serves as both a Neuromuscular Pediatrician and Neurosciences Bone Health Pediatrician providing care for high-risk patients in the Children’s Wisconsin Neuroscience program. With over 20 years of practice in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, she went on to complete a unique Neuromuscular Pediatrician fellowship at Children’s Wisconsin in 2021 and joined the Child Neurology MDA clinic multidisciplinary team.  Following this she expanded her practice to specialize in bone health evaluation and management of children with complex medical and neurologic history who are at high risk for secondary osteoporosis and fragility fractures.   Essential to her practice are preventive bone health optimization strategies, including bisphosphonate therapy when indicated, with a focus on patient and family education.
