Margaret Thew, MSN, FCNP joined the Adolescent Medicine division in 2015 and is an experienced Certified Family Nurse Practitioner focusing on caring for youth with disordered eating and gynecologic health concerns. Margaret recently completed the Duke - Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Fellowship. This one-year program offers an innovative and integrated learning experience designed especially for advanced practice nurses. The program provides training to assist providers to better meet the challenges of the evolving health care environment.

Margaret recently presented a poster at the International Conference on Eating Disorders, April 2018 on the results of her project designed to positively impact the health outcomes of adolescent cross-country runners in the community through an educational intervention at the start of their sports season.
