  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 package (serving size: 4) instant pudding, any flavor
  • 2 packages instant breakfast powder, any flavor

High Calorie Banana Pudding

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 whole ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 package (serving size: 4) banana cream instant pudding
  • 2 packages vanilla instant breakfast powder

To make pudding recipes above:

In a medium bowl:

  1. Add vegetable oil to milk.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl. Mix well.
  3. Follow the directions on the pudding mix for refrigeration time.

Makes 4 to 5 servings.

Nutrition information: ½ cup is about 200 to 250 calories and 5 to 8 grams of protein.

High Calorie Peanut Butter Pudding

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • 1 package (serving size: 4) instant pudding, any flavor

In a medium bowl:

  1. Slowly add milk to peanut butter. Mix with a spoon until smooth.
  2. Add pudding mix to the peanut butter and milk.
  3. Beat slowly with a whisk until smooth. You can also use a hand mixer at lowest speed.

Nutrition Information: ½ cup is about 336 calories and 10 grams of protein.

  • 2 cups enriched milk substitute (soy, coconut, pea protein)
  • 1 package (serving size: 4) instant pudding, any flavor (must read label for food allergens)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon (42 grams) protein powder (A plant-based protein powder is allergen-friendly.)

Tip: Use other flavors of instant pudding to change it up.

  • 1 cup enriched milk substitute (soy, coconut, pea protein)
  • 1 whole ripe banana
  • 1 package (serving size: 4) banana cream instant pudding
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  1. In a medium bowl mix all ingredients together with an electric mixer for 15 seconds or until smooth.

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  1. Slowly add substitute milk to sunflower seed butter. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add pudding mix, and beat slowly with hand beater until smooth. You may also use an electric mixer at lowest speed.

Nutrition Information: ½ cup is about 360 calories and 7 to 10 grams protein. Calorie and protein content will vary depending on type of milk substitute used.
