Aquarium

Meet the fish in our salt water aquarium.  Located in the lobby of the Milwaukee campus hospital.

ATM

Located near Coffee Cabana and in the southwest corner of the hospital lobby. Bank fees apply.

Chapel

A comforting retreat for families, patients and staff to pray, meditate or simply be alone with their thoughts.  It is located in the hospital lobby next to the Gift Shop and is always open.

Daniel M. Soref Family Resource Center

Stop in for a cup of coffee or cocoa, read the newspaper or relax to soft music.  We also have a phone charging station, computers, printer, fax and copy machine for family use.

Staff are trained to help children, young adults and their families find answers to questions about local resources, support groups, funding options, parent-to-parent support, referrals and help connecting to community resources. 

Families may check out DVDs, video games and books through the lending library.

Family Lounges

There are family lounges on each hospital unit. Lounges are specific to families of children on that unit.  Each lounge has a computer for families to use.  Login and password information is posted on each computer.  If you have questions about the family computers or the family lounge, ask your child’s nurse.

Gift Shop

Help brighten the day of your patient. We can help you customize your gift and have it delivered. Gifts are available in sizes and prices to fit any budget and for any age. For help or questions, call (414) 266-2185.

Noel Family Healing Garden

A place where families and staff can reflect.  The healing garden features plants, trees and shrubs that don’t attract insects that can be harmful to our patients. Peaceful music is piped into the area.  The garden will be open from dawn to dusk in spring, summer and fall (weather permitting).  Eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted in the space.

Sibling Care

Due to COVID, sibling care is currently unavailable.

A place for brothers and sisters of patients.  Children can play and take part in activities to help them understand why their brother or sister is in the hospital.  Sibling Care is for children 2-12 years.  Children must be toilet trained. Children must be checked in and out by the same parent or guardian. There is a 90-minute time limit per visit.  No more than 2 visits per day.  Hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm.  Closed from Noon -1pm.  For more information call (414) 266-3908.

Skywalk Pharmacy

This full-service retail and pediatric specialty pharmacy is on the 2nd floor of the Clinics Building.  Fill your prescriptions before you leave the Milwaukee campus.  Most insurance plans are accepted.  Buy your over-the-counter medicines, diabetes supplies, vitamins, breastfeeding supplements or pump accessories.  Hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 8 pm; Saturday 9 am – 3 pm.  Call us at (414) 266-1893. Welcome Centers

Located throughout our buildings.  Welcome Center staff can help you with badges, directions and information.
