Dr. Mack joined Children’s Wisconsin in 2022, and has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the field of hepatology. She has focused her research career on deciphering the role of the immune system in the pathogenesis of biliary atresia. Dr. Mack earned her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and she completed her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Mack obtained fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and was a tenured professor of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Colorado prior to relocating to Children’s Wisconsin. Dr. Mack has been consistently recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America and has been awarded the March of Dimes Basil O’Connor Scholar Research Award, multiple NIH-funded research studies and Patient-Family Experience Excellence in Patient Care Awards.
