Mental and emotional health

Mental and emotional health iconChildren’s Wisconsin’s Mental and emotional health e-learning content is designed for K-12th grade students.

These interactive lessons, activities and games focus on mental and emotional health education to raise awareness among students. Students will learn about feelings, dealing with difficult emotions, stress, healthy relationships, common mental health health disorders and how to get help when needed. Throughout each grade level there is an emphasis on finding a trusted adult to talk with.

This content provides an engaging look at what makes a healthy mind while introducing skills needed to help students lead healthy lives.

Supplemental activities for classroom use are available to reinforce what is learned in online lessons, activities and games.

Children’s Mental and emotional health content aligns with National Health Education Standards, Wisconsin Model Academic Standards for School Counseling, ASCA Mindsets and behaviors for student success: K-12 college and career readiness standards for every student and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Social and emotional learning competencies.
