Childhood brain tumors often require a combination of treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy. Children with brain tumors should be taken care by a team of multiple specialists who know the best of each fields. Neuro-Oncologist leads the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and provide the best possible care. Dr. Tanaka provides care for children with brain tumors with his expertise and passion. Dr. Tanaka strives to improve the treatment of childhood brain tumors by developing immunotherapy for remission.
