Seeking care can be very intimidating and overwhelming. So I believe that it is important to build a strong and trusting relationship by creating a welcoming environment, one where patients can be heard and understood. I recognize the importance of how certain symptoms and life events, big or small, can impact a person in many ways and I have spent years learning and understanding how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help. I encourage patients and families to be active participants in treatment with the hopes of gaining insight into their behaviors and how to effectively and confidently manage their symptoms.
