It is my belief that a child’s caregiver is one of their most influential teachers, but also an expert on them.  My goal is to treat my patients through a systems perspective.  I strive to work closely with my patients and their families in order to gain a greater understanding of the impacts their communities have on them and to support the development of greater connections within their community.  Throughout our work together, I will provide advocacy, but I also use a strengths based approach in order to empower my patients and their families to build upon the skills they already have and become a self-advocate.
