During the long, gray winters, it's important to make sure your kids are getting as much vitamin D as they need.
While invasive group A strep infections remain rare, there has been an increase of cases over the last six months across the globe, including in Wisconsin.
Every kid deserves to celebrate Halloween, even if they’re in the hospital, visiting a doctor or at the dentist (just not too much candy). That’s why staff at Children’s Wisconsin were determined to spread Halloween spirit, even as they manage a surge in viral cases and the start of flu season.
Children’s Wisconsin held a costume contest for staff and some teams got very creative. A duo of “Where’s Waldo?” hung out with kids in our MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, a nursing team dressed up as various emojis, and the entire cast of “Toy Story” visited a Children’s Wisconsin primary care office. Those are just a few examples of how team members collaborated to celebrate the day.
Some Wisconsin media shared the Halloween creativity on their websites:
CBS 58 put our Toy Story team front and center
The minions made the cut on TMJ4
NBC 15 highlighted our kiddos in costume
Thanks to all who participated and made the day a great one for our kids.
