As a mental health therapist, I believe that the many stressors created by our world can, and often are, negatively impacting children’s mental health. Many times, symptoms and behaviors are simply a signal that change, or additional supports are needed. As a clinician, my role is to help guide children and families along their unique paths of wellness, to restore balance.
