Overview

Services

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide mental health counseling services to children, adolescents and families. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in both the outpatient setting and the intensive in-home setting. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I have significant experience working with individuals who have experienced Trauma, Attachment Disturbances, Mood Disorders, ADHD and Anxiety Disorders. I believe that no person, family or problem is the same; that everyone's perception can often be their reality and treatment needs to be tailored to one's unique experiences and needs. I seek to meet the child and family where they are at and find the best approach to meet their needs and reach their goals.

I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative process and works with the entire family system to foster healing, tranquility, hope and connectivity. I have a strong belief in self-care and making time for things that one can do proactively each day to give them a sense of calm, accomplishment and joy. Running, dance parties, yoga, cooking, extra snuggles, and reading……….the list can go on and on. I can help you identify things that you can do to bring a smile to your face and maybe some smiles to the faces of the people that surround you.
