Dr. Orner says, "I believe in providing high quality, evidence-based care to active patients of all ages. My goal is to optimize mobility, function, and performance through advanced surgical techniques, focused rehabilitation, and a collaborative patient-physician relationship."
Dr. Orner's clinical interests include athletic hip, knee, and shoulder injues, from meniscal pathology to ACL tears to shoulder instability. She has also chosen to dedicate her career to hip preservation, treating patients of all ages with non-arthritic hip conditions such as hip impingement, labral tears, hip dysplasia, hip instability, abductor pathology, and hamstring tears. She completed advanced training in open hip preservation including periacetabular osteotomy and surgical hip dislocation during her fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. She also completed specialized training in pediatric and adult sports medicine during her fellowship at Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA.
Dr. Orner currently serves as an assistant team physician to the Wisconsin Herd G League Professional Basketball Team.
Dr. Orner has served in the past (2022-2023) as an assistant team physician to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Anaheim Ducks, Loyola Marymount University Division 1 Soccer and Basketball, and the Los Angeles Rams.
