Overview

I enjoy working with children and their families on creating a therapeutic relationship and recognizing client strengths and utilizing those strengths to help clients meet their treatment needs. My approach is relationship based and focused on creating a safe supportive environment for my clients and their parents. I believe that parents and families are the best resources for clients’ healing and encourage families to be part of the treatment. I utilize several evidence based treatments and have previously worked in a domestic violence shelter and in the child welfare system. I am certified in trauma counseling and have a certificate in grief support.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, traveling and reading.
