I believe individuals are the experts on their life experiences. My job is to better understand these life experiences and challenges. Once I have an understanding, we will work together to develop solutions that can help make improvements. My practice is strength based. I understand that each individual is unique and I believe everyone has the ability to be successful. I have worked with a diverse group of adults, as well as children and adolescents within the child welfare system. I have spent time working in residential care and providing in-home family therapy. My therapeutic practice is trauma informed and focuses on how to heal from the negative impact of traumatic events. I specialize in individual, family and group therapy with children and adolescents.
