Overview

Services

I am a neonatologist caring for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I specialize in taking care of infants born very premature, babies born with congenital birth defects like congenital diaphragmatic hernia, heart conditions, and complex surgical conditions. I collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other specialists to provide family-centered care for the families in the NICU. Apart from my clinical responsibilities, I also work in the basic science lab at the Children Research Institute exploring the mechanisms of persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN) and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), both of which are respiratory conditions affecting newborn babies.
