OP107_MAR_PracticeStatus_NotAccepting_r4I believe that providing the best and safest care means not only providing patients and families with a supportive and caring environment, but also providing them with treatment that science tells us works! My theoretical background and orientation is deeply rooted in behavioral psychology. I use empirically supported behavioral and cognitive behavioral treatments and make treatment decisions based on data. Behavior change requires changes in an individual’s environment, which means primary caregivers, and sometimes teachers, will play an active role in treatment.
