Children’s Wisconsin Announces Plans To Build New Franklin Clinic

Children’s Wisconsin has announced plans to begin construction on a new 22,000-square-foot Franklin Clinic, which will be located near 51st Street and Rawson Avenue in Franklin, Wis. Construction will begin in late 2025, and the Franklin Clinic is slated to open to patient families in early 2027.

The Children’s Wisconsin Franklin Pediatrics primary care office, currently located at 7322 W. Rawson Ave., will move to this new location. Franklin Pediatrics has experienced steady growth and reached capacity, so this move to a larger space will allow more area families to receive primary care and mental health support. In addition to primary care, integrated behavioral health and child and family counseling, expanded therapy services planned for the new Franklin Clinic include speech-language pathology, developmental physical and occupational therapy and sports physical therapy.

“Franklin Pediatrics has been a longstanding part of the community,” said Mike Gutzeit, MD, President of Children's Wisconsin Primary Care and Senior Vice President of Children’s Wisconsin. “By staying in the same neighborhood, our teams will continue to serve our current patients. In addition, this new space will offer opportunities to reach even more kids and families, thanks to the expansion of current services and the addition of specialized therapy services.”
