Referrals at Children’s

Our Eye Program provides referrals and consultation by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients cannot self-refer. Patients must be referred by a pediatrician, primary care doctor, ophthalmologist, optometrist or other qualified medical professional.

Eye Program residencies at Children’s

The Department of Ophthalmology has nine residents, each doing a three-year residency. Residents rotate through pediatric ophthalmology for the first two years of the program. Eye Program research and quality at Children’s

Children’s Wisconsin is a member institution of The Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG), an organization specializing in pediatric eye disease research.
