Camp Tamarack

Albert and Ann Deshur JCC Day Camp

A one week summer day camp for children 7 to 12 years old who are grieving a death. This is a chance for children to share similar experiences, explore feelings, and learn coping skills in a group setting, as well as have fun participating in camp activities.

The parent or guardian of the child(ren) participating in camp will need to complete and email the Camp Tamarack waiver form to griefsupport@childrenswi.org prior to attending.

Transportation

Busing is provided by the JCC and is available to and from the camp from the Children’s Corporate Center, 999 N. 92nd St, Wauwatosa, 53226. Buses will leave Children’s at 8:30am and will arrive back at Children’s at approximately 4:45pm each day of camp. Meet in front of the Children’s Corporate Center for drop off and pick up.
