Overview
Services
As a pediatric gastroenterologist, I care for children from infancy through young adulthood who are experiencing problems with their digestive tract. This includes conditions like inflammatory and allergic gastrointestinal diseases, infections, disorders of gut-brain interaction, and concerns with bowel habits or growth. My goal is always to partner with families to understand the child’s or teenager’s needs and help create a plan that supports their health, comfort, and quality of life. I believe that the best care comes from working closely with patients, parents, and caregivers, using the most up-to-date medical knowledge and technology to make decisions together. When needed, I also perform gastrointestinal procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy.
In addition to patient care, I am involved in research to improve healthcare for children with gastrointestinal problems—particularly for eosinophilic esophagitis, an allergic condition of the esophagus. I also enjoy mentoring student physicians and remain committed to lifelong learning so that I can continue to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
