Services
Cindy has worked in orthopaedics her entire nursing career. She is board certified in both family medicine and orthopaedics. She began specializing in sports medicine in 2013. She received her Master of Science degree in nursing from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2016 and joined the Children's Wisconsin sports medicine team in 2022. She spent 10 years working as part of the sports medicine team for the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Ballet and 6 years working as part of the sports medicine team for the Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin Herd. She has extensive experience working with local high school and colleges to care for athletes. Cindy is the team provider for Wauwatosa East High School and the sole advanced practice provider at Children’s Wisconsin with this designation.
Cindy is passionate about working with athletes to achieve their goals while providing the highest quality of care. She has a special interest in caring for athletes ages 8-22 (elementary school through college). With access to a premier multidisciplinary sports medicine team at Children's Wisconsin, she strives to return athletes to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. Cindy also enjoys taking care of pediatric and adolescent patients with general orthopedic concerns, musculoskeletal injuries, fractures, and relative energy deficiency in sports (RED-S).
Cindy sits on The Medical College of Wisconsin Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She is a member of the National Orthopedic Association of Nurses.
