Services

Rachel L. Lenhart, MD, PhD is an orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in pediatrics and neuromuscular conditions. Originally from Kentucky, she received her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before completing orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics was completed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She then received subspecialty training in neuromuscular orthopedics and gait analysis at Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware.

Dr. Lenhart has a particular clinical interest in treating children with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders. She enjoys the longitudinal relationships built with these patients and their families and the process of helping these children reach their full potential. She also is actively engaged in research to improve care in neuromuscular populations. 

She is an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM), the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis society (GCMAS).
