I enjoy being a part of the team and look forward to working with the children and their families daily. I have been practicing in pediatrics since 2003. For the five years prior to starting at Forest View Pediatrics, I enjoyed and had the privilege of providing pediatric primary care at an urban clinic in a medically under-served area in Milwaukee. Prior to that, I practiced in an inpatient hospital setting at Children’s Wisconsin for an additional five years.

From an early age, I’ve had a strong desire to serve others and give back to the community. This, along with my love of medicine and children, led me to practice in pediatrics. It is a privilege caring for children while developing a relationship and sense of trust with their families. As I strive to keep children comfortable during their visits, I greatly enjoy hearing things from their perspective. Ensuring children and their families feel they are being heard and answering their questions while providing thorough medical care is very important to me. Effectively communicating patient education and treatment options is essential for families to make decisions that are best for their child. Being a part of children’s lives and watching them grow and develop, while sharing in their families’ joys and challenges throughout the journey, is very rewarding.

Professionally I am very interested in preventive medicine with a focus on healthy lifestyles and healthy living education. Outside of work I enjoy running, biking, hiking, skiing and most outdoor activities, as well as traveling, cooking and gardening.
