Services

Being an ophthalmologist allows me the great pleasure of making significant differences in the quality of life of my patients. Whether performing surgery to correct double vision and eye misalignment, or prescribing glasses and patching therapy for a child with amblyopia, I feel honored to care for each and every one of my patients. I highly value communication and make it a priority to educate and thoroughly discuss a diagnosis so that the patient and his or her family can actively participate in the treatment plan. I enjoy forming strong relationships with my patients as we go through the journey of their care together, as a team.

Due to the nature of the visit and the time of day, my son was out of patience and not cooperative by the time the orthoptist (Lauren) was completing testing and especially after his eyes were dilated. Lauren skillfully switched gears and re-engaged my son to completed her testing. After his eyes were dilated and it was clear he was frustrated, the staff were very accommodating and helped him through. Dr Stiff has formed a phenomenal and trusting relationship with our son in the time she has been his doctor! He "was not in the mood" to do anything else and was ready to be done that day, but she had him chatting and smiling within a couple minutes. He even high-fived her and was still smiling on his way out the door. This right here makes every bit of difference! As a parent, I stress when my child is not feeling well or not behaving, but the staff took that responsibility out of my hands by taking such great care of my child and helped me relax as well.

The first person we saw was great and my son is hard to work with but when she left the room she did make the statement sometimes you have to do things you don't like. I get her statement but he was autism and medical are his scary behaviors. Dr was great front person was awesome. Only other thing I was not prepared for was the 2 hours visit this was not mentioned until we arrived as well as what procedures were going to be done so I could help prep my little guy.

Everyone I have dealt with at Children's - scheduling, front desk, techs, and the doctor have been friendly and competent. This is a stressful situation and they have treated us with respect and common sense.

Everyone was amazing! Reception staff hands down the best I have encountered! Super professional and made you feel so welcome. I work at a different systems clinic and would love our receptionist to be like yours!

I love taking my children's, my child to Children's Hospital. We always feel like our needs are being met. Everyone is really kind, the doctors really kind. My son feels more comfortable going there since it's just all for children ,and like as soon as you walk in the door. It's clean. Everyone is always nice, and answer all our questions, and it's just a really good experience.
