We had a fabulous experience. We saw a team of providers who spent ample time with us to understand our child's situation and how it impacts her life and our family. We felt supported and heard, and like we had a plan moving forward with people who care about how our daughter proceeds in life.

The doctor asked all the same questions that the nurse did. The doctor just prescribed medications and didn't really talk about non-prescription interventions. Our apt was done at 12:10, they sent us to the lab but didn't tell me that his lab apt was at 12:45 then when we got down to the lab we didn't get called until 1:15. The doc should have told us our lab apt was 35 minutes out and the lab should have told us they were running 30 minutes behind. Waiting an hour for a 2 minute blood draw is unacceptable.

Dr. Weisman is kind, caring, and very wise. He talks to us like regular people, not just like a doctor. He is very relatable. I wish I could have him for my doctor instead of just for my daughter! I hope he never goes into retirement! Simply wonderful!

I just want to say that the appointment we had with Dr. Weisman and Dr. Kahn was worth the wait. It was over six months to get in, and the team did an amazing job of being patient, professional, certainly knowledgeable, and I was really impressed with how thorough they were with our questions and meeting our son's needs. So I am so glad we waited all that time to see them, and we are very thankful.

Our daughter was diagnosed with a pain condition a couple years ago which was devastating to our family. The doctors and other care providers at Children's gave us hope her condition could be managed and have provided not only top notch medical care but also support for her mental and emotional health. The team approach her doctors took has been extremely beneficial and we are so appreciative that staff takes the time to really listen and understand any concerns we have. We are so fortunate to have the wonderful resource of Children's Hospital in our community. Dr. Weisman and Dr. Khan are excellent doctors and we feel as though they care about our child as much as we do. We are so grateful for the collaborative approach used in our daughters treatment.

The pain program with Dr Weisman is wonderful. We've recommended this program to at least three other families who have similar health issues as our son. We are so grateful for everyone in this program

The Rn was super quick to take us back. Also gave us directions how to leave the facility due to construction. She chatted with myself and my daughter about favorite sweets which put my kid in a more comfortable mood. Dr is so personable and friendly. We had a great experience.

My child came in rather jaded from previous medical experiences. She didn't expect to be actually helped or have her pain taken seriously. She left feeling like part of the team in making her plan for care, that she was heard--and that her voice mattered--, and that she was being taken care of and supported through the visit. Dr. W was engaging, knowledgable, and really good at using the right mix of "You can do this; you're almost an adult" when faced with my child's fear of labwork but also gentle of "I can understand how those previous experiences made you feel." Your lab staff were exceptional and helped undo years of carried trauma. I don't think there are enough kudos I can give.

When your child has a chronic illness, you get tired of seeing doctor after doctor. It can become difficult to remain positive and hopeful and you start to feel like no one can help your child. Even more heart breaking is that you can tell that your child is starting to think that way too. The pain clinic visit was fabulous. We got some answers to long standing questions. We have some solid positive steps that we can take to help with the pain, and hopefully a program to help with both the pain and the mental health part of my child's journey--both of these aspects are so important to allow my child to have a life and not the half life she currently is living. For me to say that the combined visit was very helpful is like the understatement of the year.

We have seen many doctors over the years, and our experience with Dr. Weisman was one of the best. Thank you for taking the time and effort with us, Dr. Weisman and helping our son.
