Matthew T. Maksimoski, MD, is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist at Children’s Wisconsin and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Although he sees patients with anything from hearing loss to swallowing issues and neck masses, his particular interest is in complex airway disease of the larynx and trachea, and sinus and skull base disease. With high levels of medical complexity and in-depth disease processes that require a lot of intellectual engagement and collaboration, these particular focuses allow for significant impact on patients and their families.
 
His research focuses on translational subjects and quality improvement for patients, in addition to disseminating knowledge on rare and complex conditions so other can provide high-quality care. He is new to Wisconsin after completing fellowship in Cincinnati but loves it here even in the short time he’s lived here.
