What is a durable tube?

A durable tube can be used to provide nutrition for as long as your child requires help with feedings. Our team will continue to support the development of your child’s oral feeding skills while the tube sustains the majority of their caloric needs. Your child may progress onto 100% oral feeds, at which time we can remove the durable tube.
